Caulfield’s Racecourse has had many forms, ranging from a swampy place of rest for First Nations people to the world-renowned Caulfield Cup horse racing carnival. For locals the Racecourse can be a quiet place of nature, dog-walking, picnics and events. It is also a place of state-wide heritage significance.

This exhibition by Glen Eira Historical Society celebrates Caulfield’s Racecourse with photographs, objects and stories from the Glen Eira Historical Society’s collection and other key collections.

Gallery hours

Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm
Saturday to Sunday, 1pm to 5pm

The Gallery is closed on public holidays.
